Some people that are just starting now want to create a website for free just so they don't have to spend any money up front. Well, there is good news. You can create your website without spending a single penny.

There are free hosting companies that will allow you to host your website for free. You will have to host it on their server and use their domain name as part of your domain name. For example, is your website name is bigredcalendars, then your domain name would be a bigredcalendars.freehosting or something similar to that. Now when it comes to free hosting, you get what you pay for, but for just starting out a free hosting company will do.

There are also free tools that you can use to edit your website. Textpad and Coffee Cup Software are tools that I use.

If you do not want to create your website from scratch, there are websites that offer free website templates. These free website templates look very professional and are as good as many paid templates. Just download one of the templates and use your free and website editing tool to change the text to say what you want.

Once you have your website created, simply upload it to your free hosting company's server. Now you have your website up and running without spending one penny.

Now I suggest that if you are really serious about your website, then you buy your own domain name and hosting from a reputable hosting company. Purchasing your own domain name is only about $10 a year, and you can get quality hosting for $5 to $10 a month.
