"The urgent problem is a lack of common sense and pragmatism in lawmaking. Main concerns: more good jobs, education at a reasonable cost and greater public safety. Considering that political games, greed and subversive alliances have ruined our economy, solutions that leverage critical thinking, pragmatism and common sense are what we need. I'm running because I know that our community needs me. I was serving my country as a soldier during the tragedy of Sept. 11. Patriotism was reflected in the overwhelming influx of new recruits driven by a call to serve. I am driven by a call to serve."
