"Preserving the rural lifestyle that citizens of Calvert County have come to expect and enjoy while continuing to balance an increase in economic growth. While Calvert County has maintained a conservative fiscal policy, we need to continue to focus on the revenue and expenditure outlook until better economic times return. We also need to continue to work with our elected school board to maintain the excellent quality of our school system."
