Today's show... title was originally supposed to read, "Where the manliest thing Justin Yu does is shop for a duvet cover," but since we're not prone to totally making things up for the show, we had to change it to what you see now.

This morning's episode of The 404 Podcast delves into a new antisocial networking site called Avoidr and examines a study that finally proves "older" actually means "wiser." We also pick apart the teaser for the new Facebook movie "The Social Network," and while we're here, we might as well discuss the mystery that is "Egyptian Cotton."

Fresh from the "no duh" department at the Daily Mail UK, a new study proves that brain power continues to improve as a person gets older. Scientists and "old-age experts" at the Royal College of Paediatrics claim that as people age, they become more adept at processing information and making rational decisions compared with their younger counterparts who are more prone to surges of dopamine, a hormone implicated in irrational reactions.

The three of us certainly aren't scientists, but we have a hunch that part of that ability comes from the wisdom you get from experience, as well as what Jeff calls "re-death," a term more recognizable by its legal name: "matrimony."

We talked with Foursquare founder Dennis Crowley almost a year ago, and since then the location-based social network has slowly started to take over our Facebook and Twitter feeds. Jeff isn't very happy about it, but a new twist on Foursquare could help him steer clear of his "frenemies."

If you'd rather keep track of your antisocial network, a new service called Avoidr promises to "keep your friends close and your enemies at that bar down the street." The service uses Foursquare's servers and lets you mark individuals as "Dead to me," whereupon the site will show you where NOT to go to avoid an awkward situation. Just don't write off too many friends or you might find yourself using this service soon.

If you reaaaaally don't have anything to do this fall...you should still save yourself $11.50 and stay at least 100 feet away from "The Social Network," David Fincher's new movie about the genesis of Facebook. We're fans of Fincher and Jesse Eisenberg, the guy playing Mark Zuckerberg, but the latest teaser trailer dumps so much forced dramatization on the audience that we're wondering if it's supposed to be a comedy.

Check it out and let us know what you think. Would you pay to see a movie about Facebook, or would rather log onto the real thing? Let us know in the comments below!
