Since Joomla is one of the most widely known CMS brands that people use to manage their websites, it's no wonder why more and more people would consider availing of their services. Today, people would like to know how Joomla can be installed to get started with their own websites. Joomla is pretty easy to set if you follow these guidelines:

First of all, it is important for you to know that you need your very own Joomla package. The Joomla package is found on Joomla Forge that can be downloaded on the web. It is a good idea to download the latest version because it has the latest useful features like advanced bug fixes and patches. You'll findthe latest full package at the bottom of the forge. Once you have downloaded the lates package, you cans start installing Joomla.

If you do not have anything on your domain at all, you can install it. Once you have downloaded the package, you must first decompress it to your hard drive and then you need to have it uploaded on your computer. Decompress and start to open with your FTP client. Once you have opened it, Login with your Ftp client to your website and begin to upload all your important files in the directory you like.

Prepare your database while waiting for all the files to be uploaded. Login to your cpanel and proceed to the "MySQL databases" menu. Look for the "add db" button and type the name of the new database. Select the "add db" button to create the new database. After which, you can start adding a user to the database you've just created. You can do this by clicking on to the "Add User" button. It is important to remember the password/s.

Once you have accomplished this task, you can now add your user to the database. There are 2 dropdown spots for databases that enable you to see a user and a database. Select your new user and database and click on "Adduser to DB". Once you have successfully added our user to the Database, you can now close the Cpanel.

After the upload is completed, you can start setting up your Joomla applications. Start by opening your browser and type the address bar needed. The browser ill load the first web page during installation. You should be also to see something that says, "Joomla pre installation check" if you have successfully started installing.

If you have trouble with starting off, be sure to check if you have uploaded all your files correctly, if you have uploaded them on a separate directory within your site or if you have an Apache /SQL/PHP server. If everything is running smoothly so far, you can proceed to the next step by clicking "Next". The "Terms and Conditions" should be read carefully. After your'e done, you can click the "next" button found on the top-right.

The database configuration will be soon filled by the Joomla software you are installing. Your host name will usually be "localhost". Fill out the spaces provided for you with the name of the database, username and password. The MySQL Table prefix can be left "jos_".. If this is your first installation, click the check box that says, "Install Sample data" and click next to proceed. A window will pop up and will ask you if all the information you have written are correct. Verify these information once more and click "Ok". Proceed to the next step and type in the name of your site and click next. You can change the name of your site if you want to eventually.

After this, confirm your URL path, your email and password. Your email and pass word will serve as your "Super Administrator" e-mail and password. Type them in and remember the password well because you will not have the privilege of recovering your lost password once you have forgotten them. Your user name will automatically be "admin" and you can modify it eventually in the "Administration Section". After which, press next.

Finally, You will be able to see on your username and password on the scree. Remember to delete the "Installation" directory. Select all and copy using your ftp client and edit "configuration.php" and type (better "paste").
